WELCOME

to Moises Zuniga's theater portfolio.

About Me.

Theatre has become the place where I have discovered not only my passion, but also my purpose. Every production has challenged me to grow as an artist, collaborator, and leader. Whether I am performing under the lights, working behind the scenes, or developing a creative concept, I am drawn to the power of storytelling and the way live theatre can connect people through shared emotion and experience. I believe every role, every cue, and every design choice contributes to something larger than ourselves.

My experience spans performance, technical theatre, and creative leadership, allowing me to approach every production from multiple perspectives. I have worked as an actor, lighting technician, crew head, and assistant director, experiences that have deepened my appreciation for the collaboration required to bring a story to life. Understanding both the artistic and technical sides of theatre has strengthened my ability to communicate, solve problems, and support the creative vision of an entire production rather than focusing on a single discipline.

As an artist, I strive to create work rooted in honesty, empathy, and curiosity. I am especially drawn to stories that explore resilience, hope, and the complexities of the human experience. I believe the most memorable performances are built on authenticity, thoughtful preparation, and a willingness to remain open to discovery throughout the rehearsal process. Every project presents an opportunity to learn something new about the craft, the people around me, and myself.

As I continue my education and professional training, my goal is to become a versatile theatre artist who contributes meaningfully both onstage and behind the scenes. I hope to continue performing, expand my skills in directing and theatrical design, and eventually help create productions that inspire audiences as profoundly as the theatre that first inspired me. This portfolio represents not only the work I have completed, but also the beginning of a lifelong commitment to the art of storytelling.

Collins Elementary

Ensemble- The Lion King

Narrator 3- Cinderella

My theater education at Collins Elementary School set me on the path to becoming a performer. Over the years, I have taken on many creative projects and roles. These roles helped me understand what it is to be a performer, to take up all of the space, and to never be shy when it comes to acting.

2022-2026

Cadre Kerr

Soldier- Skeleton stories

Ensemble- Orange

Thomas-Imaginary Invalid

 Jack- Into The Woods

Nikos- Big love

Mr. Green- clue

Young Collector- A Streetcar Named Desire

My time in Cadre Kerr has been transformational both artistically and personally. Through this program, I have grown not only as a performer, but as a leader and technician who understands the full scope of theatrical production. Being immersed in an environment that demanded responsibility, collaboration, and discipline taught me how to take initiative, support my peers, and contribute meaningfully beyond my assigned role. Whether I was on stage or working behind the scenes, I learned that theatre is strongest when every member of the ensemble commits to the collective vision.

With the guidance and mentorship of Julie Ryan and Jason Quach, I was introduced to the professional standards and expectations of the theatre world. They challenged me to refine my craft, think critically about character development, and approach technical work with precision and intention. More importantly, they fostered a space where I felt encouraged to take creative risks and step into leadership opportunities. Their support allowed me to build confidence not only in my abilities, but in my voice as an artist. Because of their mentorship, I now approach theatre as both a disciplined craft and a collaborative art form, understanding that growth comes from continuous learning and shared dedication.
